Our Mechanical Throttle Linkage Replaces the Problematic Cable Linkage in the FFR, Providing a Direct Connection Between Your Accelerator Pedal and Carburetor.
Features: Billet Aluminum Mechanical Lever Arms with Adjustment Slots, Stainless Steel 3/8″ Throttle Shaft, Throttle Rods, FK 3/8″ Throttle Shaft Pivots with 1.5″ Stainless Steel Washers for Firewall, FK Rod Ends for Throttle Rods.
Tools Required: 3/8 inch drill bit for firewall, 7/16 bit for foot box, T-square, 12” level, Rat tail file or whizzer wheel, ¼” x 28 tap & # 2 drill bit.
Note: Modeling of the parts before drilling is very important. Once finished installation you can change ratio with the rod ends on the levers for quicker or slower response.
Install Linkage Rod end on carb lever. With a T-square it will help to locate the firewall linkage lever.
The lever goes on the stainless steel pivot shaft. Next goes the red fiber washer, then firewall rod end with inner and outer stainless steel support washers.
